After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Donna went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at the Kingston General Hospital with her family by her side, in her 56th year. Cherished wife of Joseph Soja of Kingston and beloved mother of Christina, Jennifer Bertrim (Mike) and Jeffrey, all of Kingston. She leaves behind 2 beautiful grandsons, Noah and Logan, who will forever remember her as "Bunny". Much loved daughter of Tatiana Golan, also of Kingston and the late Stefan Golan and dear sister of Stanley Golan and his wife Donna of Prescott. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Boulevard) on Sunday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. Funeral Monday, June 7, 2010 to Holy Name Church (Kingston Mills) for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am, The Reverend Father John Gillis officiating. Rite of Committal to follow at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (Cancer Center of SE Ontario at KGH) would be appreciated by the family.
