Born in Harrow, ON in 1949, to parents Earl and Gertrude (Cowley) McLean, deceased. Devoted and cherished husband of 21 years to Marilyn (Brown) of Kingston and loving and proud father to Laurie, at home, and Jon (Anne) of PEI. Dear brother of Bess McLean (Dave) of Peterborough and David (Ann) McLean of Kingsville. Son-in-law of Doris Brown of Kingston and brother-in-law to Dale (John) Page, Diane (Jeff) Caird, Jim (Janet) Brown, all of Kingston. Loved uncle of Michael (Sara), John (Christina), Troy (Joanne), Patrick (Chantelle), Matthew (Katie), Cheryl, Adam (Mandy), Amy, Emily, David, Joshua, and their families. Also fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins, numerous friends and his spiritual family at Bethel Pentecostal Church. Resting at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard. Friends will be received on Thursday, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Friday, July 9, at 11:00 am., with Reverend Lewis Bryant officiating. Interment Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Bibles for Missions, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, in Mr. McLean's memory.
