MACGILLIVRAY, J. David,
Passed away at the Kingston General Hospital, peacefully in the loving arms of his wife on Sunday, July 25, 2010, He will be deeply missed by Betty, his wife of 51 years. Beloved father to son, Miles (Denyse), daughters Kathryn, Carole, Diana (Craig), Freda and Jo-Anne (Brent). Affectionately known as "Grandpa" to his eleven grandchildren, Crystal, Lorelei, Jessica, Amanda, Nikita, Tiffany, Amber, Eric, Alexis, Stacey and Daemon and four great granddaughters. Survived by his brother, Brian (Lynn) and predeceased by brother, Stuart . He will be remembered by his sister-in-law, Arlene, as well as many nieces, nephews and their families. In keeping with David's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME (1900 John Counter Boulevard) on Thursday, July 29 at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends in the chapel ,one hour prior to service and in the Reception Centre following the service. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date, in the National Military Cemetery in Ottawa. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to The Arthritis Society or U.H.K.F. (Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario), in Mr. MacGillivray's memory.

To Diana, Craig, Amber, Eric, Stacey and the whole MacGillivray family please accept our deepest and most sincere condolences. You are in our thoughts at this difficult time in you life. Hold on to the memories of the good times that you have shared with each other, as I am sure there are plenty of them. Take care of each other.
